Wykop-OTS Rules
1. Character names
a) Names that are insulting, racist, sexually related, drug-related, harassing or generally objectionable.
b) Names that advertise brands, products or services of third parties, content which is not related to the game.
c) Names which were created to fake official positions (e.g. "Wykopots Admin").
d) Names which are unpronounceable (e.g. "Dnfdkdndfufn") or difficult to distinguish from each other (e.g. "Lililllil" and "Lilililil").
2. Statements
a) Insulting, racist, sexually related, drug-related, harassing or generally objectionable statements.
b) Excessively repeating identical or similar statements or using badly formatted or nonsensical text (spamming).
c) Advertising brands, products, servers or services of third parties.
d) Disclosing personal data of other players or staff members.
e) Spreading false information about the server or staff that may harm server's population or reputation.
f) Hostile statements against other players or staff members.
g) Statements that support, incite, announce or imply a violation of the Wykop-OTS Rules.
3. Cheating
a) Exploiting obvious errors (bugs) of the game or any other part of our services. If you find an error you should report it to Wykop-OTS immediately. (using ctrl+z in game client)
b) Using tools to automatically perform or repeat certain actions without any interaction by the player (macros).
c) Manipulating the client program or using additional software to play the game.
d) Trying to steal other players' account data (hacking).
e) Playing on more than one account at the same time (multi-clienting).
f) Offering account data to other players or accepting other players' account data (account-trading/sharing).
4. Gamemasters
a) Threatening a gamemaster because of his or her actions or position as a gamemaster.
b) Pretending to be a gamemaster or to have influence on the decisions of a gamemaster.
c) Intentionally giving wrong or misleading information to a gamemaster concerning his or her investigations or making false reports about rule violations.
5. Gameplay
a) Intentional blocking of parts of the map (spawns, quests) with other characters, unless its a part of pvp (player versus player) action.
b) Keep many houses by a single player without actually using them.
c) Power abusing by excessive harassing or killing another players using own advantage which may lead to harm server's population.
d) Trapping another player in place he can't escape from even with help of another players, which isn't part of pvp action.
e) Intentional abuse of other weaknesses in the gameplay.
A violation of the Wykop-OTS Rules may lead to temporary banishment of characters and accounts. In severe cases removal or modification of character skills, attributes and belongings, as well as the permanent removal of accounts without any compensation may be considered. The sanction is based on the seriousness of the rule violation and the previous record of the player. It is determined by the gamemaster imposing the banishment.
These rules may be changed at any time.
